How To Make Chocolate Cake With Avocado Instead Of Eggs And Butter

Today we’re going to show you a vegan cake that you can eat safely without the fear of weight gain. Isn’t that what you just wanted to hear?! A cake with no fat or calories you can enjoy whenever you like.

 

Instead of eggs or butter, the cake is based on avocado. This wonderful tropical fruit contains numerous important nutrients such as vitamins B2, B6, B6, C and K, as well as zinc, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, etc. Avocados are rich in potassium as well, in even higher amounts than bananas. The cake is easy to prepare – you just need to follow these instructions:

Cake ingredients

1 avocado (mashed)

½ a teaspoon of salt

3 cups of flour (all-purpose)

2 teaspoons of baking soda

5 tablespoons of dark chocolate cocoa powder

2 cups of sugar

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

2 tablespoons of white vinegar

2 cups of water

¼ cup of olive oil

Icing ingredients

2 avocados (mashed)

1/3 cup of sugar

5 tablespoons of dark chocolate cocoa powder

Instructions

Leave the oven to heat up to 350 F. In the meantime, put some oil and flower in 2 cake containers, then mix the 5 first ingredients in a bowl, and the next 4 with some olive oil in another bowl. Add sugar in the end.

 

Now, blend one avocado with some flour until you get a nice mixture and put the cake in the containers. Bake them for about 30 minutes, then leave the cakes to cool down before putting a layer of the icing on top.
